ASK THE EXPERT?

Underwater Explorer, Naturalist/Photographer - Neville Coleman
Divers and underwater photographers are all explorers and on every dive we swim over creatures that in many cases are not yet described. Although there are now many sites that persons are able to get identifications, not everybody has the expertise, or experience that is available to me.

These days the expertise to produce good underwater images is long gone. Any scuba diver, snorkleler, reefwalker, or beach comber can produce excellent images good enough for identifcation and publishing. Everybody is welcome to share their images through my website and in turn we all learn more about the World of Water.

These pages have been prepared from questions asked by divers and snorkelers over the years and I have added some more information. They now form the basis my original concept of offering an original identification to fans, friends, members and customers, as part of my website service.
Up to 4 images (Jpegs) with accompying information may be sent to my email address worldofwater@nevillecoleman.com.au with a request for identification and information (if available).
I will do my best to identify and supply available info in caption form and publish your images in these pages.
However, I wear many hats and if you are in a hurry to get your images published then you best look elsewhere. Your material will be answered and published but because I have so many divers, snorkelers, reefwalkers and beachcombers sending in material, I sometimes get a bit overwhelmed.
In order to keep things fair I answer enquiries by the date they are sent in. Where there are too many during the same week I do the easy ones first.
